Beantrees Bookkeeping is upstairs in the Scott Block building. Access from the street is by using the door to the right of the main entrance and up the stairs. Gaetz/50th Avenue at the 4800 block also is home to the Hot Pot Studio, Subway and Monsieur Wong’s.

The Scott Block building is located in the heart of downtown. The main floor is home to the Culture Link Theatre. The upstairs is offices. The building suffered disrepair and neglect for a number of years until a non-profit society purchased the building a few years ago. Major renovations took place on the main floor and are slowly getting started on the upper floor. Plans for rejuvenating the building have been slowed by a lack of funds on the part of the non-profit society. Some of the offices have already been  leased and renovated by the tenants (like Beantrees Bookkeeping and the Downtown Business Association). As funds allow the common areas are slated for new flooring and paint! The building is beautiful with big windows, high ceilings and reasonable rent. It’s a perfect space for a small business!
